Helping you find your way through life’s challenges and transitions
Trauma-informed counselling on the Isle of Wight and Online
There are times in life when our usual ways of coping no longer work.
You may be grieving someone you love, questioning a relationship, navigating menopause, facing illness, or simply feeling that the life you've built no longer feels like your own.
Counselling offers a space to understand what is happening, reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity.
My approach is trauma-informed, warm, and thoughtful; supporting you to explore difficult emotions, develop greater self-understanding and find new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
I often see people who:
feel overwhelmed, anxious or emotionally stuck
are going through a significant life transition
are processing grief, loss or illness
struggle with self-worth, low self esteem or feeling “not good enough”
are exploring deeper questions about meaning, identity or purpose in midlife or at any other time of life
Together we can explore whatever you are bringing to therapy at a pace that feels right for you, helping you reconnect with your inner resources and move towards a greater sense of authenticity, clarity and emotional ease.
If you feel called to embark on a gentle journey towards a deeper understanding of yourself and would like a non-judgemental and welcoming space to talk about life transitions, difficult feelings and personal challenges, I invite you to get in touch.
“Mary has helped me more than I can express, not just by listening, but by guiding me toward tools and insights that have allowed me to better support myself. I’ve grown so much during our time together, and I’m so grateful for her empathy, wisdom and support.”
