“We’re all just walking each other home”

Ram Dass

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to cope with life’s challenges? Perhaps you are dealing with low mood, bereavement, illness, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or a sense that something in your life needs to change.

I offer trauma-informed counselling in Newport, Isle of Wight and online. My approach is warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental; supporting you to explore difficult emotions, develop greater self-understanding and find new ways of responding to life’s challenges.

My work is rooted in Psychosynthesis, a holistic form of psychotherapy that recognises all aspects of being human – our thoughts, emotions, and deeper sense of meaning and purpose.

I often work with people who:

  • feel overwhelmed, anxious or emotionally stuck

  • are going through a significant life transition

  • are processing grief, loss or illness

  • struggle with self-worth, low self esteem or feeling “not good enough”

  • are exploring deeper questions about meaning, identity or purpose

Together we can explore whatever you are bringing to therapy at a pace that feels right for you, helping you reconnect with your inner resources and move towards a greater sense of authenticity, clarity and emotional ease.

Psychosynthesis is a holistic branch of psychology that includes all aspects of being human, including our spirituality. That said, you don't have to have spiritual beliefs to benefit from Psychosynthesis Counselling.

If you feel called to embark on a gentle journey towards a deeper understanding of yourself and would like a non-judgemental and welcoming space to talk about life transitions, difficult feelings and personal challenges, I invite you to get in touch.

“Mary has helped me more than I can express, not just by listening, but by guiding me toward tools and insights that have allowed me to better support myself. I’ve grown so much during our time together, and I’m so  grateful for her empathy, wisdom and support.”
